"Us"

"Us" is a poem I wrote when I was really frustrated and angry with my group for a project at school. (Written on January 30, 2012.)There's one line in there that's not proper, but I felt that it belonged in there. Again, this is mine, so not stealing please! :) Enjoy!

"Us"
"It's always more painful, 
the closer you get.
The fire burns brighter, 
the more you regret.


Who's to say it isn't right?


When you're angry, 
and when you fight.
To burn the fuel, 
that burns so bright.

That pit of death, 
inside one's heart.
Where envy and hate, 
will tear one apart.

To understand, 
to tolerate.
To keep on walking, 
through that gate.

When one is angry, 
and one is sad.
When both are hateful, 
and yet both glad.

This human nature, 
that shines so true.
Comes from heaven, 
and hell too."

Oh! And I'm gonna get some art posted soon, I'm just trying to find the time to finish a piece I was working on. I don't have anything complete to show at the moment, but i do have several sketches I can put up. Interested...? Maybe...? Leave a comment below if you are and I'll post a sketch A.S.A.P.!!!
